Truly Elegant - 2002 , very pretty, quite stout 13.2h grade mare. She has lovely gaits and a can-do attitude. Her personality is laid back, to be frank she's on the lazy side. To my eye, she is a hunter type pony in movement and demeanor.
She's gentle and friendly but a little green. Truly is quietly and confidently carrying a rider walk, trot, and canter, and is in jump at a hunter barn, where's she's jumping with a variety of riders. She's cantering courses and has her changes. With more miles and a little polish, she will make an ideal hunter or lesson pony. She's a real bargain if you want to bring her along yourself. Her training in the basics will continue until sold, but get her now before the price increases!
Update - at Truly's first show, she placed 3rd in a large Hunder Under Saddle class, besting several show ring veterans. We are delighted with her attitude and performance. She is on the verge of hitting the spring shows, and getting more and more suitable for beginners in the process. At her 2nd show, she placed in all 3 classes of the 2'3" hunter division.
