SOLD! Merry Christmas, Lucero! Can't wait to hear all about your adventures with Fozzy!

Here's the latest on this fabulous pony: Now showing 2nd level, 68% at his 2nd show out. We are playing with double bridle and starting flying changes. Here's a short clip of our very first formal session attempting the changes. Not bad for his first time, eh?  Read his whole saga starting just a short 12 months ago further down this page. I just love this guy!
SSP Stop the Press- Flashy 2003 welsh x arab gelding. 14.1h.  "Fos" was bred by Smola Sport Ponies. I've always wanted to work with one from this superb sport pony breeder. Their ponies have been winning in hand and going on to do great things. This pony has siblings that have advanced to 2nd  and 3rd level with ease. Whit Watkins has one of his brothers and they are creaming the warmbloods at 3rd  level as we speak!  I can't get over the talent and brain this guy has. Super fancy trot, easy to get on the bit, learns fast fast fast. After less than a week here, I  fell in love. Before he came to me, a 9 yr old girl was using him for flat work and jumping. We entered  his very first dressage show after less than a month with me.He nailed his qual scores.
Here is a little info on Stop the Press' parents. He has a fabulous pedigree:
Dam: Joulee
Cinnamon Bay x Joule

Joulee is a  15 hand chestnut Arabian mare. Elaine Smola writes: "This mare is my alltime favorite mare. Joulee is by Cinnamon Bay and out of Joule, a Bask daughter, who produced the many times Champion himself and sire of champions, Duel. Joulee produced the incredible Blazen when crossed with Triton, a Gdansk grandson. When bred to Gdansk, she produced the absolutely exquisite Great Beauty who in turn was the dam of Kaliedoscope, an outstanding dressage performer. We crossed her on Pecan Creek's Timpanist not once but FIVE times I liked the offspring so well. All of them are tremendous movers and beautiful individuals and show lots of potential for future accomplishments. Can you tell I love this mare?! She is an amazing producer!"
Sire: Pecan Creek's Timpanist
Section B Welsh Grey 13.2 hand stallion. Timmy is by Cloe Olympian, one of the top hunter pony producers in the nation. Timmy is owned by Jane Cozart and is standing at stud in Moran, Texas. See more of Timmy and find his contacts on his web site, Pecan Creek Pony Farm.He is the sire to many Smola Sport Ponies. They speak very highly  of this stallion and have seen few who could compare in looks, movement and temperament. Timmy is the sire to Savoirfaire, a successful 3rd level dressage competitor and hunter pony. He also sired the exquisite Shazam who began his dressage career with big wins at SWDC at Training and First Level in 2008 and is now winning at 3rd level with Gold Medalist owner Whit Watkins! Timmy has numerous successful offspring competing in many disciplines all over the US.
